House sales can diy help

Having recently thinking about selling my house and as with all things similar to this have been trying to work out what the best path to make the house look good before we either sell our house or stay in it for a while longer. I started by looking at different rooms in the house and thinking about what I could do to better them and remove any issues I might feel about them.

The heart of my house is the kitchen so I started their looking at the kitchen layout, our kitchen is a fitted kitchen which works quite well with a useful work space (fortunately I talked to a near by kitchen company about kitchen planning before purchasing). The floor was a bit of an issue with just lino down which had got a little ripped up as I had shoved washing machines and fridges about in it. I sought out some tiling advice from a local business to get the floor tiles that would blend in with the kitchen units without making the room appear to dark (just some of the little things you have to think about when you come to sell your house, initial impressions are everything within the small window people have to look at you house).

I then wanted to ensure the bathroom looked good, my bathroom layout was a little cramped because of some fitted cupboards which once removed gave me a lot more room (which if you are going on initial view could help sell my house). Once again I went down to the area tiler for some useful tiling advice and used larger light tiles which seemed to open the space in the bathroom, just one of the many things to be thinking about when purchasing bathroom tiles.

The other rooms I decorated with a neutral light colour which seemed to draw the rooms out and gave the whole house a fresh look. I then took out as much stuff as I could and stored everything that wasn’t necessary away in the garage. The final thing, a house that I wanted to stay in, but after just a few viewings brought to me from an online property site I have got some good interest, so heres hoping ill be able to sell my house soon.
